We built FindAndDM because we looked for a tool like it and couldn't find one. After weeks of searching influencers by hand and sending DMs one at a time - and dozens of conversations with campaign managers telling the same story - it was clear this wasn't just us.

It started when I built Menda - a ready-made store for beauty influencers - and needed influencers to market it. Days of manually scanning Instagram, copying handles into a spreadsheet, sending DMs one at a time. I looked for a tool that did both the finding and the sending, and there wasn't one.

Then came the part that came up in almost every conversation with agencies: they had paid influencers real money, the campaign ran, and nothing happened. On paper everything looked fine - solid follower counts, healthy engagement - but the audience following them simply wasn't the audience buying the product. And no tool let them check that before they paid.
